It’s really difficult to go back to something you used to be amazing at after a very long time. After putting my life on pause for a while, it seems like I’m out of practice for almost everything. Even writing this blog post after far too long is proving to be difficult. I’ve started and stopped for a few days now.
The key is to not let it get to you. I just remind myself that I was once a beginner at everything. And I got better. And I can do it again. People really don’t understand how difficult this mental illness can be. On top of everything, I have to relearn life itself. But I know I can do it. And you can too.
This outfit is the simplest outfit of all, and my go to: high-waisted pants and a crop top. The top, shoes, and purse are from Forever 21, and the pants are from Fashion Nova.
The top is almost like a bustier. It’s nice and thin for the warm weather, but not see through, which is important, especially in white. I like the thickness of the straps, and the knot in the front is a very cute touch.
This white purse is such a treat, with a unique front buckle, and the back being completely see through! Very simple but different at the same time.
The shoes are also from Forever 21 (I had gone on a shopping spree with my mom!) I had initially put them down at first, but after purchasing all my clothing, I just couldn’t get these shoes out of my head, and I went back for them. Like the purse, the shoes are very simple, but the colour and material make them just unique enough.
Finally, the earrings are from ALDO Accessories. As is the theme here, they are simple, but unique. They are the perfect final touch for a classic, Classic, CLASSIC look!
