Living My Best Life

It’s funny how strongly and instantly my mood changes with the weather!  I was going to write a post explaining that I hadn’t posted in a while because I have been struggling with SAD, no thanks to the worst Spring in history.  But the day I took some sad aesthetic pictures, the sun came out, and I instantly felt like I was living my best life!

Some other things have contributed to this feeling as well: I got a new job, I’ve been doing what I love again (singing).  I’m on the verge of tying up some loose ends in my life, as well as repairing relationships.  But even before any of this, I started talking to God, and just like that, I felt better.  Not necessarily “un-depressed,” but just at peace, and hopeful.

This post is definitely a positive update!  Thanks to God, and this beautiful weather, I am feeling happier, and also taking full advantage in the fashion department (Winter fashion is fine, but Spring/Summer fashion is exciting!)

This outfit is my hello to Spring!  Purchased from FashionNova.com, STEPPS, and Le Chateau.  I brightened slightly monochromatic look with a red lip, and a lot of highlight, all from Fenty!

This dress was purchased online from Fashion Nova.  I really love the off the shoulder look when it comes to tops and dresses.  This dress has a ruffled neckline, and buttons down the front, which is a nice touch.  As far as the colour, it is nice to have a cute little dress that isn’t black!

I just purchased the purse today, from an store in the mall called Stepss Shoes.  It has a Louis Vuitton look to it, and the diamond closure is just gaudy enough to make this purse the cutest lil thing!

Everyone knows you need to have a little black dress in your closet, but a little black heel is just as important!  I originally bought these so I could look fancy at work, no matter what I was wearing, and they always do the trick!  Whether I am dressing up or down, this shoe really adds an element of sophistication to every single outfit.  They’re also extremely comfortable, so this purchase was a win/win/WIN for me!
