I’ve been dealing with a lot lately, and, as is usually the case with depression, I have people who understand me and people who don’t. Some people have been so supportive I thank God for putting such wonderful people into my life. From others, however, things like my emotional strength and self-love have been called into question, and this attacking of my psyche is getting out of hand. I know myself. I am not emotionally weak, I have an illness. An illness that could happen to anyone. And I love myself, but like all human beings, I have insecurities. Life isn’t easy, but through it all, I haven’t given up on myself or my dreams. No one has the right to tell me who they think I am; with or without depression, I am amazing me.
Moving on: I did a bodysuit haul during boxing week, as bodysuits are a staple in my new style (post coming soon.)
The first bodysuit I purchased is from Nasty Gal. This one is white and ribbed, with an open back. It doesn’t fit me perfectly, but with my emotional eating lately I’m sure I’ll fit right into it in no time! Also, it’s not the cutest with my nipples stabbing through, and nipple pasties for darker skin are hard to come by, but I’ll figure it out.
The next bodysuit is also from Nasty Gal. It is a scoop-necked bodysuit that I purchased in red, as I am trying to add more colour to my wardrobe. The colour and sheerness of the material, however, would make it better suited for the summertime.
The next bodysuit is from Forever 21. It’s white and one-shouldered. Once again, the material is a bit sheer for my no bra wearing self, but I’ll probably just rock it.
The fourth bodysuit is from Nasty Gal. It’s black, which makes it perfect to wear anytime and anywhere! It being off-the-shoulder just gives a lil uniqueness to what would otherwise be a plain black top.
The next bodysuit is from Nasty Gal as well (tell me how you really feel about Nasty Gal, Kiswana.) It’s bright orange (for the first time in my wardrobe) with a PLUNGING neckline, and I can’t wait to wear it this Summer!
Finally, this last bodysuit is from Forever 21. It is black, ribbed, and high-cut, and will probably be my most worn bodysuit of all time!
